A shared home for the rules
your work depends on.
RuleGenius is a project for readable data rules, with a focus on business meaning, standards, policies and data contracts.
Rules need context.
A validation in a script tells you what was checked. It may not tell you who approved it, which policy it implements or whether it is still current. RuleGenius aims to keep that context with the rule.
The initial focus is standards, certification and supplier compliance: workflows where requirements have sources, people review interpretations and changes need to remain understandable.
One requirement, end to end.
Capture the source
Reference a policy, standard, section or business decision.
Write the rule
Give it a stable ID, readable meaning, owner and severity.
Review the interpretation
Move from draft to review to an explicitly approved version.
Connect the implementation
Export a readable rule and link the check that enforces it.
Preserve the history
Keep changes and execution evidence tied to the appropriate versions.
What is being designed?
The first version is scoped around a rule repository, source references, version history, manual creation, human review and DSL export. An initial local validation prototype is intended to test the connection between governed rules and executable checks.
A readable language, with a broader purpose.
RuleScript is the RuleGenius language for readable transformations and validations. Its reference brings field operations, validation constraints and error messages together. Rule identity, sources, ownership and review are part of the product design around those checks.
